Elmwood Village: Take a stroll through Buffalo's Elmwood Village and hit the farmer's market (Elmwod & Bidwell), grab a coffee at Spot Coffee (765 Elmwood Avenue) or Caffe Aroma (957 Elmwood Avenue) and browse some books at Talking Leaves (951 Elmwood Avenue).

Niagara Falls: Never been to the Falls? It is just a quick drive from the city to the US side. We also suggest going for a walk on Goat Island while you are there--the oldest state park in the US. For more information visit: www.niagara-usa.com

Open Air Bus Tour: Join us at 5pm on Friday for an open air bus tour of Buffalo's Architecture. The bus will leave from Larkin Square (745 Seneca Street) at 5pm and return in time for the 7pm welcome party. We will take RSVPs closer to the date.

Albright-Knox Art Gallery: The AK's stunning collection of modern and contemporary art is not to be missed! Stroll through the galleries on your own or join for a docent tour on Saturday, details to be confirmed. For more information visit: www.albrightknox.org

Burchfield Penney Art Center: Across the street from the AK, this museum is dedicated to the art of Charles Burchfield and Western New York artists. For more information visit: www.burchfieldpenney.org

(716) GAL-LERY: Curated by Leslie Zemsky, this is Buffalo's smallest art gallery located inside a vintage phone booth in the Hydraulic Hearth restaurant and brewery.

Darwin Martin HouseThis multi-structure estate (1903-05) that Frank Lloyd Wright designed for Darwin D. Martin (a senior executive of the Larkin Soap Company) is a masterpiece of 20th century architecture. This ambitious restoration project is open for tours, advanced booking highly recommended.
